AES Statement of Conformance

Al-Etehad Security (AES) is dedicated to providing security services in Iraq, acknowledging the
ongoing security concerns in the region. Our commitment extends to our clients, the communities
we operate in, and our partners and suppliers. They rely on us to conduct our operations
responsibly, prioritizing safety and security, and safeguarding tangible and intangible assets while
adhering to local laws and international standards, such as the International Declaration of Human
Rights.

The delivery of our services and business practices is governed by the Al-Etehad Security Services
Code of Conduct and Business Ethics. Our foundation rests on a strong commitment to respecting
human rights, following the principles of Protect, Respect, and Remedy (ICOC/Monteux).

Operating in the complex environment of Iraq, characterized by numerous layers of national and
local bureaucracy, Al-Etehad Security Services applies its code of business ethics and standards.
This approach aims to navigate the intricate landscape, minimize risks associated with our actions,
and prevent adverse effects on human rights.

Our respect for people, clients, and communities is paramount. Al-Etehad Security fosters a
respectful and engaging operating environment by acting responsibly, fairly, equitably, openly,
and transparently.

Al-Etehad Security adopts a responsible approach within the community, integrating healthy
business management systems that encompass:

• Selecting, recruiting, and vetting staff, partners, suppliers, and, where appropriate, clients.
• Promoting and maintaining service quality assurance through training, audits, and regular
  feedback.
• Preparing for and managing disruptions, identified risks, and unforeseen events in a prompt
  and proportionate manner.
• Cultivating a culture of professionalism and excellence through coherent and progressive
  training and education.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and standards within Iraq for the
  employment, contracting, and reimbursement of people and suppliers.
• Firmly rejecting and condemning bribery, corruption, and fraudulent practices in alignment
  with our whistleblower policy and directive.
• Respecting freedom of expression in matters of faith, gender, culture, and tradition.
• Contributing to the improvement of community life through financial and physical
  assistance.

In the event of undesirable or disruptive incidents, Al-Etehad Consultancy and Security Service, will
manage impacts comprehensively, minimizing adverse effects. If the situation affects human rights,
legal steps will be taken to remedy issues through internal and legal processes.

• Al-Etehad Consultancy and Security Services operates a formal process for receiving and
  responding to internal and external grievances, including a whistleblower process for confidential
  matters.
• A fair and robust formal disciplinary process is employed when the Code of Business Ethics
  and Standards is contravened.
• Al-Etehad Consultancy and Security Services complies with Iraqi legal, judicial, and Ministry
  of Interior directions as required.

As a newcomer in the provision of security services, Al-Etehad Consultancy and Security Services is
eager to improve its services and standing in the field. We actively seek client feedback and
monitor improvements through a two-tier evaluation process: client interaction and internal
observation and feedback.

The Owner, Board of Directors, and General Manager assume responsibility for guiding and
directing management, providing resources, and ensuring that standards and compliance are
